If you possess a property – make sure your possession is registered in the property tax registers.
Possession of a property must be registered in two cases:
- You own or possess a property that is not registered in the property tax register when the new law enters into force.
- You buy or enter into possession of a property after the new law enters into force. You must register this within 30 days from the day you started possessing that property.
Registration must be done through a self-declaration in the municipality where the property is located. Use the form Self-declaration for Possession of a New Property.
Please note that you risk fines if you do not register your property correctly.
